Peds-A-Palooza Founder, Nancy Mura

Nancy began her involvement in the physical therapy field when she took over as marketing manager for a struggling physical therapy practice. After increasing the office’s referrals five-fold, she had a sudden inspiration (while in the middle of a hot yoga session, no less) on how to help pediatric private practices make the same jump to success.

Her idea was to create an online community exclusively for pediatric private practice owners, a group she felt was heroic yet grossly undersupported. She would call the community Peds-A-Palooza. She quickly took her concept to Survival Strategies, Inc. (SSI), a leading training and consulting firm. SSI loved the idea and agreed to be the sole sponsor.

Nancy then launched Peds-A-Palooza™ Community and Conferences. She offered pediatric private practice owners a forum in which to exchange ideas, tips and challenges; conferences with proven tools for management success and a series of practical webinars called Lemonade, a Free Webinar. In a world that largely neglects the needs of children with disabilities, Peds-A-Palooza was a breath of fresh air for these practice owners.

Peds-A-Palooza™ Community and Conferences and her other support groups are  now 4,000+ strong and thriving. Nancy’s promise to the Paloozies (her nickname for group members), is “stability, expansion and the preservation of private practice.” This is her pledge and she lives by it every day.
